"I think this one is about how so many things in pop culture lack any substance.  Just look at the photos on the album sleeve...lotteries, 1-900 sex lines, evangelists, etc.  People just want to be entertained.  They want a nice house in the 'burbs, an SUV in the driveway, two kids and a dog.  They don't want to think or challenge anything...they just want to be comfortable. The things they choose to immerse themselves in lack substance."
