Whisper In Time

"This song is about reflecting on your past experiences, what you've learned, the people you've known and also, regret. We are such a small entity when compared to the rest of the world, but as individuals we are able to make great changes in the way other people lead their lives. Wherever you are now in your life is because of what someone else may have told you, or done to you, good or bad. It reminds me of a personal experience with having to leave my long- time friends behind, because they had changed into self- righteous bastards who thought that they knew it all, and I could not stand being around them any longer. They led me to where I am now, and I am much happier. When you do take the time to think about your life, you will realize how quickly and silently it has gone by. Kind of like a whisper, that you couldn't hear."

"Well, the way I see this song is like the quote from a movie... which I don't really remember what it is. 'The past has passed, the future is now' Notice that other than the lines 'they are just a whisper in time' are all in past tense, except the last one.  That means that all he is saying is things that have happened in the past, and we don't need to worry about them!"
